By using DailyFolio, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

Note: The books and content on this platform are generated using Artificial Intelligence. While we strive to ensure a safe environment, user interactions and prompts are processed by automated AI systems.

1a. 公開コミュニティプロフィール

DailyFolioにはコミュニティセクションがあり、ユーザー同士で交流したり、公開プロフィールを表示したり、トップ作家や最も愛されている本のランキングを見たりすることができます。 デフォルトでは、プロフィールは非公開に設定されています。

設定で「公開コミュニティプロフィール」の切り替えを有効にすることを選択した場合、以下の情報が他の登録ユーザーに公開されます。

• 表示名（著者名が設定されている場合はそれ、それ以外は氏名）およびアバター。
• 作成および公開した書籍のリスト。
• The list of books you have "loved" (liked).
• Your activity in community feeds and leaderboards.

You may switch your profile back to private at any time via Settings → Preferences, which will immediately remove your profile from the community directory and leaderboards. Comments you posted on books remain visible but can be deleted by you at any time.

Your email address is never displayed publicly, regardless of your profile visibility setting.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the DailyFolio platform and its features.
• To manage your subscription, process payments, and send billing-related communications.
• To personalize your reading experience and recommend relevant content.
• To send service-related emails (e.g., welcome emails, new book notifications, account updates).
• To review user-submitted stories for quality and content moderation.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.
• To analyze usage patterns and improve the platform (using aggregated, anonymized data).

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers only to operate our platform, including:

• Tranzila — for secure payment processing.
• ElevenLabs — for AI audio narration generation (no personal data is shared).
• Base44 — our infrastructure and backend platform.
• Google Analytics / Google Ads — for anonymous usage analytics and marketing.

All third-party providers are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, secure storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. Payment data is processed solely through PCI-compliant payment processors and is never stored on our servers.

Despite our best efforts, no online system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your DailyFolio account.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & International)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
